Canterbury



Canterbury, in the South East of England, has been an important player in England's history since its early beginnings as a Roman settlement. Canterbury is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is also one of Britain's Heritage Cities.

Don’t miss:

· UNESCO granted World Heritage status to part of the city, including St Martin’s Church, St Augustine's Abbey and Canterbury Cathedral.
· A must in you visit is: The Canterbury Cathedral, as focal point of the city. The Canterbury Roman Museum and the Canterbury Tales Exhibition ideal for children.
· Follow the circuit of the mainly 13th and 14th-century medieval city walls, built on the line of the original Roman walls.
