Did you just have or are you soon having to say goodbye?
Moving city or country, changing school, even changing
job includes saying goodbye to friends and families and
important people in our life. And this often is a challenge.
What makes saying goodbye so difficult?
How can we have a “good goodbye”?
Why is it so important for everyone and especially for expats’ well being?
Join us for a talk that combines transition theory
and practice, applied neuroscience, and … a dose of British humour. expert speakers are: Claudine Hakim Head of Advancement,Transitions and Student Support and Evangelos Raptis Psychotherapist and School Counsellor
Claudine Hakim is Head of Transitions,
Student Support and Advancement at the
International School of London (ISL) and is
the leader of the award winning ISL
Crossroads Transitions programme. Claudine
was previously a Head Teacher at an
independent Special School and another
International School.
Claudine holds a Master's degree from the
University College of London, Institute of
Education in Educational Leadership and
Management and a BA in Psychology and
Counselling from Richmond International
University.
Having lived in 3 continents, Claudine is
passionate about fostering well balanced and
inclusive international communities. She is a
public speaker who actively promotes the
importance of transitions care and attachment
security.
Evangelos Raptis is a relational
psychotherapist. One of his passions is
working with individuals, families, and
organisations in transition.
Formerly a technology start
upper and
finance executive, he brings a wealth of
expertise as somatic psychotherapist in
private practice and school counsellor
with ISL London. Evangelos blends his
personal and professional insights from
business, parenting, academic, and
clinical settings into engaging
workshops around the world.
His training includes Swarthmore
College, Stanford University, the
London School of Biodynamic
Psychotherapy and the London Gestalt
Centre.
Evangelos lives and works in London
and is registered with the UKCP and the
CNHC .
