Register for a TV licence as soon a you have a residence in the UK.
TV Licence
If you watch or record television programmes as they're being shown on TV you must, by law, be covered by a TV Licence, no matter what device you're using. If you do not apply for a licence it is very likely you will receive a fine.
It is easy to apply for a licence and you will be required to pay each year. The TV licensing service manages your account either online or through the mail-depending on your preference.
